Our Goal
At Boulder Students Athletic Club, we strive to create quality products that promote both sustainability in sports and the general outdoors. Our goal is to get the younger generations outdoors and experimenting with sports and activities they may be interested in. The products we have created, have been made using recycled, environmentally friendly, and locally sourced materials. We aim to build a community that is equally in love with sports and the outdoors as we are.
What is Flaibol?
The Flaibol, an original product created by Boulder Students Athletic Club, was created as a way to get people outdoors and moving around with a simple hacky sack game. The hacky sack, also known as the footbag, has been getting people outdoors since its creation in 1972, and we would like to continue its long-lived legacy with the Flaibol.
Clothing Philosophy
'repurposing and enhancing the used /vintage clothing market by upgrading items to find a new owner'
At Boulder Athletic, we vow to only use recycled or vintage clothes which have had a previous owner. We believe that there is a huge market for up-cycling clothes in order to promote affordability whilst minimising clothing waste. Our current generation is obsessed with materialism, many compare ourselves to celebrities, sports stars or even our peers in terms of what they wear, what's new and what's in trend. This is contributing to the 92 billion tonnes in textiles waste generated globally each year.
